    My second posting here – after bud cure and smoking test on first grow and doing second grow now (late vedge). I really, really like this stuff – for me, perfect high; blend of head and body, nice aroma and potent – one bud sends me. Final weight on first grow was 600g of primo bud (I lollipop) off two plants/5 gal. pots in 1m sq. tent. Doing second grow now – 3/3 germ; at late vedge now – will flip from 16/8 to 12/12 in a week. This strain has big-ass leaves (wide leaf blade) compared to hash plant, crown royal, Cali-OG Kush, CBDream. I’m paying closer attention this grow – trying to optimize yield this time – shouldn’t be an issue. Using G8-450 LED (18″-20″ vedge and 14″ – 16″ flower with additional G8-LED flower booster light (aka flying saucer). I’m trying one plant under new California Lightworks 250W COB full spectrum LED to compare response (18″ vedge and 12″ flower, no booster). If you’ve grown a few times, I doubt you’ll have any issues with Gelato – highly recommended! I only grow from seed.

    My 2 Gelato plants are doing beautifully after 4 weeks. Having started with rich, organic soil, I initially over-fed them (Fox Farm feeding chart). They quickly developed gray patches on their leaves. But after flushing the soil, I have been watering them with room -temperature spring water only (about 2 wks now). They have recovered nicely – beautiful and lush. Now it’s time the re-introduce the nutrients, but at a reduced level. BTW they’re growing in a 2 ft, 3 in. X 2 ft, 3 in. linen closet, under a 1000 w Roleadro LED light. Walls lined with reflective bubble insulation sheets. Very much like a grow tent, with an oscillating fan and plenty of ventilation. Also note that I live just outside Philadelphia, and the plants have started in very warm, humid conditions outside. Fortunately, the rooms around the grow room are conditioned.

    planted three germinated gelato pot seeds and grew under a thousand watt LED cheap grow light. May 4th we move the plants outside for the summer as of August 27th the plants have an average height between 9 to 11 feet tall. and they all have started budding quite nicely in the fourth week quite impressed
