This plant is a real head-turner in the tent. As it finishes up, the buds usually turn deep purple, which makes the thick layer of white resin look even frostier. The smell hits you right away with a mix of sweet guava and zesty citrus, but there’s a rich, earthy backbone that keeps it from being too sugary. When you crack a bud open, you’ll catch a spicy kick that lets you know the THC is sitting in that 20% to 24% range. It’s loud, sweet, and complex.
The high starts with a tingly, happy rush in your head that makes you feel calm but not totally checked out. That mental buzz doesn’t last long before the indica side takes over. You’ll feel a warm wave of relaxation spread through your limbs, eventually leading to a serious case of couch-lock. It’s great for wiping out a bad mood or easing physical tension, but don’t plan on doing much once the high fully settles in.
Growing this one is pretty straightforward. Thanks to the GDP genetics, these plants are hardy and grow into thick, bushy shapes. Since these plants do not stretch excessively, they are perfect for indoor tents with a limited ceiling. Growers recommend removing some of the larger fan leaves midway through the flowering stage to help light reach the lower branches. This practice encourages the entire plant to gain more weight.
These plants thrive in a steady environment and are easy to feed. They are not picky about the nutrients they are given as long as they are in moderation. Since the buds can get very dense and sticky, you must monitor humidity levels during the final weeks to prevent mold. They put off an intense, fruity perfume, so a good carbon filter is definitely your friend. You can expect to chop these after 8 or 9 weeks of flowering. If you’re outside, aim for early October to see those dark purple colors really pop as the temperature drops.
